Case Study: Escort of High Profile Religious Figure Through LAX

The Problem
The World Protection Group (WPG) was contacted by a monastery who was organizing the travel of a very high profile monk. WPG was asked to escort the holy man from his chauffeured vehicle curbside at LAX through TSA Security and to his plane. The monastery wanted to ensure both the privacy and holiness of this individual.
The Challenge
- WPG had to contact TSA at Los Angeles Airport (LAX) and makes plans to move this person through security while respecting his religious beliefs.
- WPG had to make arrangements for our executive protection agents to pass through security as we would travel with this man all the way to the plane door.
- WPG had to make arrangements to take our client through the airport without injury or interruption.
The Result
WPG made several phone calls to plan a smooth arrival and delivery for the monk through the TSA security and then on to the plane. A private room was provided at the airport, for our client to perform his rituals and prayers before being escorted to his plane for departure.
Working with the airline Lufthansa and LAX and communicating with the necessary personnel, WPG was able to move the Monk through the airport efficiently, without compromising any of the TSA standards or the client’s beliefs.
