K-9 Services and Fully Trained Executive Protection Dogs
The World Protection Group provides executive protection dogs in order to protect you and your family from armed robbery and home invasion.
Our program stems from the most basic understanding that temperament is the most important thing to a successful K9 personal protection dog. Our dogs are trained to sense danger and respond accordingly while remaining calm and in control in public settings.
This type of dog is a reliable protector who is not a danger to the client, his family, or the people outside. We ensure that the dogs we train can be a loving family pet that is safe to have around your home, even around kids, but turn into ferocious protectors when needed.

K-9 Procurement and Training
Security K-9’s can be purchased for use both as pets and as residential protection dogs. These dogs will have basic to advanced training and protection skills based on the client requirement, and are an excellent visual deterrent for estate security. Security K-9s can be taught to live within the home and travel with the client for close quarter personal protection. The Dogs can be raised and trained with clients or purchased as adults for immediate use.

Private training can be arranged for staff and assistants who deal with the dog when the clients are out of town. Ongoing boarding with brush up training is also available..

Handler Dog Teams for Estate Security
Security K-9’s are an excellent addition to estate security when operated by professional security handlers. How WPG Trains K9 Dogs
All our protection dogs undergo a strict evaluation process to check if they have the natural character that makes them ripe for intense training needed for a K9.
We will evaluate the dog’s drive, confidence, nerves, dominance, intelligence, and environmental soundness. Needless to say, the World Protection Group is very selective when it comes to deciding which dogs are suitable for our training program.
This is the kind of dog that you should have as a pet and protector. We have partnerships with a wide network of dog breeders locally and internationally.
The most common protection dogs we train are Dobermans, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Belgian Malinois, and Dutch Shepherds. We look at each dog’s characteristics in choosing which to train.
Our K9 Dog Categories
K9 dogs can be single-purpose, meaning they only have one task to perform. There are also dual-purpose dogs, who are trained to perform a wide variety of tasks. We train our dogs to suit the following categories:
- Apprehension. Dogs in this category are trained to bite, hold, or subdue intruders or suspects. They are first in line when it comes to risk as they are the first ones to get hands-on with a suspect or intruder.
Dogs in this category need to have intelligence, strength, agility, and stability. They are trained to respond on command while in the midst of a phenomenal temperament.
- Detection. These are the dogs trained to sniff out drugs, explosives, or accelerants. We make great use of their amazing sense of smell, which is 45 times better than a human’s.
The recent sniff dogs can work off-lead, which means less danger to their handlers and better coverage for the dog, the team, and private protectees.
- Search and Rescue. These are the dogs who have a crucial role in searching for lost victims in various settings, from a kidnapping case to plane crashes and earthquakes.
They go through the rubble to find living victims and the bodies of the deceased ones. Search and rescue dogs are trained to cover miles and miles of area and work for long hours under the supervision of their handler, as they are not allowed to get overworked as part of their humane treatment.
How K9 Dogs Are Deployed in Private Security
Aside from choosing whether a dog should be single or dual-purpose, we decide which role a K9 dog to play when it comes to enhancing security.
We can choose whether to embed a dog into the team’s daily duties or contract out its services as needed, usually when traveling.
These are the common K9 deployments when it comes to private security:
- Drug Detection. Having a K9 around is very effective in keeping a home or workplace drug-free. For instance, if a VIP is planning to throw a party and he wants to make sure that the event will be free from drugs, he can have the private K9 stand by as guests enter the home.
- Perimeter Defense. These dogs are on alert for breaches on perimeters and they are deployed to patrol the grounds as instructed by the handler.
- Explosive Searches. Any place where large groups gather, whether it’s vacation homes, executive offices, and auditoriums, will benefit from having a K9 deployed to search for IEDs before and during a gathering.
A dog’s athleticism makes it more effective than any detection robot when it comes to covering more areas.
The World Protection Group is your best choice when it comes to procurement and training of K9 dogs that can be used as pets and residential protection dogs.
You can purchase a trained dog from us or we can train your existing pet dog.
